1. Original Model (master cast) : Use clay, oil clay and wax to mold the desired figure and make final decoration.
2. Model removal :
After the model is obtained, remove the model by using any type cement block, plaster, para rubber and silicone block.
* Except for the bronze work, it is recommended to use silicone block because of its better quality and durable. This process is to produce the model according to the desired quantity and the mold can be reused.
3. Copy Model : After the model is obtained, copy model can be done according to the following processes :
3.1 Boil wax into liquid article, pour into the block and leaves for 2-3 minutes. In case of the large scale, we shall apply the boil wax onto the silicone.
3.2 Pour away the excessive wax and leave only those on the surface part of the model for approx. 4 mm. thick.
3.3 Make the core by using plaster mixed with sand and water (refractory material) pouring into the internal hole, leave until it becomes solid and remove the model, we shall obtain waxy model contained with lime.
3.4 Decorate and add the missing part.
3.5 Nailing and tying :
Nailing is to use steel or nail to punch through the internal lime texture at the appropriate intervals to retain core.
Tying is to mold wax into round stripe to tie the model at the same point on the top or bottom of the model and connect as the mouth.
3.6 Rod tying : Mix plaster, sand and water and slighty pour throughout the model approx. 2-3 inches thick except the mouth. Use the string to tightly tie around the lime to prevent breakage between burning and gold pouring processes.
